Chhandak Pradhan- Online Junkie, Oxymoron Extraordinaire, Scribe, Shooter and Storyteller

Chhandak Pradhan is an editorial photographer and freelance journalist based in Kolkata, India. He started his career as a cub reporter. Few chance encounters and internships later, Chhandak now talks about himself in third person and specialises in conceptualising content for editorial projects, still and motion picture shoots, multimedia journalism along with writing features and interviews.

He is part of Babel Images- an international collective of documentary photographers and is represented by Barcroft Media (UK) and Penta Press (South Korea). He has worked with British Council, Deutsche Bank, Stop TB, Save The Children, Without A Trace (Sweden), Open Magazine, The Telegraph and The Times of India.

Chhandak loves twenty-fifth letter of the alphabet, flooded roads, sticky humid weather, desire, envy and things people are. He spends his spare time convincing his professor parents that a photojournalist makes more money than an investment banker!
